| my mum's watching late night brutal news. again. (unusually heavy downpour in Mumbai!!!)
dad's in his hideout!... downstairs, of course!
i just spoke to aru on the phone... another one-day part time job tomorrow, right outside iim-b (Indian institute of management, Bangalore). 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the spot payment. 400 bucks. hopefully.
luckily they haven't imposed a dress code! unlike the infamous galaxy chocolates... and their "silky brown delicious looking gowns!"
hmmm... what do i wear though? jeans and a tee or salwar kameez?
(head spins)
(head echoes with television sounds: 'parody of kaun banega crorepati' (who wants to be a billionnaire...)
blah blah blah...
i don't believe shah rukh khan's much advertised 'kya aap panchvi pass se tez hain' (are u smarter than a 5th grader... gosh these names sound so hilarious translated!) isn't doing too well! (ironic because i don't watch it either!)
nonetheless srk never fails to surprise me... i commend his energetic activities of late, which include the quiz show, which hasn't worked too well, the ipl (indian premier league-cricket), which has worked wonders, his treasure chest of up coming movies and probably a lot more entertainment!
back to the news. it doesn't get any less brutal. aarushi's murder. as i had told mum a few weeks ago. "this news and its hype will last a few weeks. but i guarantee it'll be well forgotten in a month's time, however intriguing the case maybe." and already, a television soap is adapting the murder scene from this case onto one of their episodes... which is quite a ruthless mockery if you ask me! i mean, is it informative? NO! is it entertaining?? NOOOOOO!!
i could write on about these soaps... the crime... the media! gosh... so much to write... so less time!! next time. :)
